Executive Desktop Support /IT Team Specialist

Summit Human Capital is seeking a Secret or Top Secret cleared Executive Technical Support Analyst to support a federal program with the Air Force, on site at the Pentagon. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of technical experience with computer and network systems.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to work on site daily at the Pentagon.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; with the ability to support high-level executive Air Force customers.
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or Remedy).
- Experience with layer one networking.
- CompTIA Sec+ certification
Desired:
- Networking certification or additional technical certifications.
- Prior experience supporting high-level military clients.
Responsibilities:
- Join a federal program supporting the Air Force, to provide executive-level technical support to Air Force officials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Utilize written and verbal communication skills to work with clients on-site to resolve technical issues and develop routine plans.
- Partner with LAN technicians and network administrators to ensure a stable and high-performing desktop computing environment.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, assess hardware/software options, and optimize overall network performance.
- Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN devices to meet client infrastructure requirements.
- Execute standard network change requests as part of routine maintenance or project-related activities.
- Manage network operations logistics, including inventory, maintenance, repairs, and upgrade coordination.
- Provide support for end-user workstation software, addressing technical issues to maintain operational efficiency.
- Respond to service requests through phone, email, instant messaging, and voicemail, ensuring prompt and accurate support.
- Accurately document desktop equipment activity, including issues, repairs, installations, and decommissions.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of incident tickets and resolution steps in the tracking system.
